Building Information Modelling oder kurz BIM ist wohl die größte Umwälzung im Baubereich seit der Einführung von CAD – Technologie. Entscheidend dabei: BIM ist nicht das plötzliche Planen in 3D, sondern es ist ein ganz neues Arbeitsprinzip. Es geht nicht nur darum, neue Software zu beschaffen. Betrifft BIM auch mein Büro?
Momentan findet auch auf dem deutschen Markt ein Umdenken hin zur BIM-Planung statt.
Ab 2020 wird die Erstellung im BIM-Standard für alle Projekte für das Ministerium verbindlich. Großbritannien, Niederlande, Dänemark, Finnland und Norwegen schreiben die Anwendung des BIM-Standards bei allen Neubauten der öffentlichen Hand bereits vor.
